The successful candidate will teach an introductory course in American Politics and upper-level courses in judicial politics. The ability to offer a research methods course will be considered a plus, but is not required. The teaching load for this position is the equivalent of six courses over the academic year. Visiting faculty are eligible to apply for travel, teaching, and research funds while on the faculty at Gettysburg College.

Gettysburg College is a highly selective liberal arts college located within 90 minutes of the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area. Established in 1832, the College has a rich history and is situated on a 220-acre campus with an enrollment of over 2,300 students.
