Proximus Global

Proximus Global

Position description

We’re excited to share how Proximus Global is shaping a new competitive space:

Where connectivity, omnichannel experiences, and digital identity protection converge. Our platform serves over 5 billion subscribers and secures more than 180 billion transactions every year, powered by AI-driven fraud prevention, seamless authentication, and intelligent connectivity that elevates differentiated omnichannel experiences worldwide.

Strategic Market Intelligence Intern

As a Market Intelligence Intern, you will support the end-to-end operations of our global market intelligence program. You will assist in gathering, structuring, and communicating actionable insights that influence executive decisions across product, marketing, sales, and corporate strategy. From preparing reports and dashboards to managing vendor portals and enabling access to our centralized intelligence hub, you’ll be immersed in the heartbeat of decision intelligence at one of the world’s leading digital communication companies.

Job responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of CEO Activity Reports, Market Product Coverage summaries, and Competitive Benchmarking decks.
  • Support stakeholder interviews and feedback loops for the centralized Market Intelligence Portal.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry developments for monthly newsletters and strategic alerts.
  • Coordinate and log project-level intelligence requests across business units under supervision.
  • Contribute to UX design improvements of internal intelligence tools.
  • Facilitate shadow cabinet-style exercises with cross-functional teams to gather front-line insight.
  • Handle vendor portal queries, licensing workflows, report dissemination, and system troubleshooting.

Your Profile

Your profile:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s or final-year undergraduate program in Business, Economics, International Relations, Strategic Studies, or a related analytical field in a Belgian university. We will not consider applicants enrolled in universities located outside Belgium.
  • In possession of a valid Belgian residence permit.
  • Able to provide a school-issued internship agreement.
  • Strong written communication and PowerPoint slide-building skills.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and structuring unstructured problems.
  •  Familiarity with industry research databases (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC) is a plus.
  • Experience with primary research, competitor profiling, or product/market fit analysis is a bonus.
  • High intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning how the future of digital communication is shaped.
  • Passion for the scientific method for analytical tasks and forecasting future market scenarios, their early signals, and the implications for business decisions and impact.

What do we offer you?

  • We are 100% Belgian. So we make decisions in three languages. And all at the same time if you like!
  • We are open to everyone: M, W, X, and in fact all the other letters of the alphabet.
  • We encourage personal growth. At the Proximus Academy, you won’t even want to miss a session.
  • We are, of course, committed to sustainability. What else did you think?
  • We firmly believe that working together is important, but that having fun together is even more so. That is why we regularly organise fun activities. (Please let us know if you have a talent for playing Santa Claus!)
  • We believe in responsibility. Also in yours. For example, you can take it to launch your own initiatives.
  • We put our customers first. And because we are all customers somewhere, you already know what that means. That’s good.
  • And the ever-important work-life balance? We keep it in the right place.
