Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a TK-8 district in North San Diego County. The District

is recruiting Special Education Extensive Support Needs Teachers for the 2025 – 2026 school year.

Applicants must have or obtain a California Education Specialist Teaching Credential

with Extensive Support Needs (or equivalent) credential, Autism, and CLAD/English Learner

authorizations before July 2025. If you are currently in a credential program and do not have a

credential issued at the time of your application, you must submit a letter from the university

stating you are on track to complete the specific credential program by an anticipated date. If

you are applying for a California credential and have an equivalent credential from out-of-state,

you must attach a copy of your current state credential(s)/license(s).

DETAILS FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION EXTENSIVE SUPPORT NEEDS TEACHER 2025-2026 HIRING POOL:

LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 183 Day School Year Calendar

WORK SCHEDULE: 7.0 hours/day

BENEFITS: The benefit package includes employee and dependent health, dental, and vision benefits and paid sick leave.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Possess a California Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Extensive Support Needs, Autism (or equivalent) and CLAD/English Learner Authorizations. Out-of-state applicants must have a corresponding credential/license and obtain the appropriate California credentials. Required application documents are listed below and must be submitted with the online application in PDF format. 

REQUIRED CREDENTIAL: Current valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Extensive Support Needs Credential(or equivalent credential type), Autism, and CLAD/English Learner Authorizations.

  • Letter of introduction addressed to Kimberly A. Huesing, Assistant Superintendent, H.R.
  • Resume
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation (preferably within the last year and at least one from a direct supervisor)
  • Copy of credential or letter from the university stating anticipated credential type and issuance date
  • Copies of transcripts reflecting degree/major and any postgraduate coursework (if you have multiple sets of transcripts, combine them all into one PDF file and upload)
