Instructor/Assistant Professor of Political Science and First Year Seminar – Tenure Track

Position description

Tenure-track faculty position in Political Science and First Year Seminar; part of a strong social science division. This position includes expectations of high quality and engaging instruction in Political Science and First Year Seminar courses. Position requires a teaching load of the equivalent of 30 credits/year across all levels of courses.

Priority is on excellent teaching including online instruction, synchronous delivery, along with advising, assessment, service, student recruitment, curriculum development, articulation with high school and university faculty and professional development activities.

Position begins Fall 2026. Faculty Orientation is 8/20-8/21/2026.
