Prosper Global

Prosper Global

<div class="prose-job-description“>

Position description

Barely enough is not enough for anyone. Prosper Global is a humanitarian organization working alongside communities facing conflict, climate change, and economic hardship to meet urgent needs and create the conditions for lasting progress. Today’s challenges demand new solutions, so we pair local knowledge with global resources to help communities build what’s needed, test what’s possible, and scale what’s proven so that people everywhere can pursue a full life on their own terms. In 2026, we changed our name from Mercy Corps to Prosper Global, to reflect our belief that when every community can prosper, all of humanity moves forward.

The Awards Management Team

The Awards Management Team (AMT) works in lockstep with Prosper Global’ country teams to ensure they have the resources, tools, and information they need to succeed in the implementation of high-quality programs across three areas by:

  • Stewarding award management from kick-off to close out, supporting adherence to donor requirements, aligning donor contractual deliverables with internal program quality and compliance standards to deliver program impact, resolving compliance issues, and promoting knowledge management;
  • Contributing to strategic new business development by identifying new funding opportunities, supporting high-quality program design, and leading submission efforts aligned with donor requirements; and
  • Serving as liaison between Prosper Global’ program teams and their most critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Prosper Global works across 14 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, leading a large and diverse portfolio of programming with a focus on fragile and conflict-affected countries and regions. Across the region, Prosper Global works to address the interrelated and compounding factors that drive vulnerability, including conflict and climate shocks, responding to humanitarian needs while strengthening the systems that contribute to stability, economic growth, inclusive governance and sustainable service delivery. Key areas of focus include resilience, economic opportunity, market systems development, climate adaptation, water security, food security, governance, peacebuilding, youth employment and humanitarian response. The region also presents growing opportunities for private-sector engagement, blended finance, and innovative partnership models, enabling Prosper Global to bridge relief and long-term development needs through climate-smart, evidence-driven and market-oriented programming.
