  • Coordinating the staff judging process and recruiting and managing guest judges
  • Helping to manage the World of 8 Billion mini grant opportunity for teachers
  • Supporting with the planning and facilitation of at least one webinar to support educators with the contest
  • Prepping for the contest opening by writing topic overviews, aligning topics to curriculum standards, preparing marketing materials, and other updates as needed
  • Creating content and posting on PopEd’s social media pages (Facebook, BlueSky, and LinkedIn), with support from PopEd staff

The Fellow will work as part of a dynamic team on other program activities as needed, including writing blogs and supporting educational workshops/webinars. Detailed information about the Population Education Program can be found at www.populationeducation.org.

Requirements: Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in environmental and human population issues and K-12 education, and strong writing skills. B.A. or B.S. required.
