Position description

Reporting to the Director of Policy and Partnerships, the Global Outreach Specialist will provide flexible project coordination, communications support, and relationship management for Gund Institute for Environment partnerships and projects at the state, national, and international levels. As a member of the Gund’s global impact team, this position works across policy and communications and interacts with a full range of Gund Institute partners and collaborators from the private, public, and NGO sectors.

If hired, one will work with the Gund Policy and Partnerships Director to strengthen and seed the Gund Institute’s network of relationships with new and existing internal and external partners. Additionally, one will collaborate with researchers to translate complex scientific findings into accessible, engaging narratives for public, policy, and funder audiences, including policy briefs, newsletters, web, social media. Finally, one will also support existing and new Gund projects with workplan execution, meeting facilitation, and documentation.
