Position description

Together for Sustainability AISBL (TfS) is a global procurement-driven initiative dedicated to improving supply chain sustainability in the chemical industry. Committed to contributing to a better world, TfS member companies assess, audit, and improve sustainability performance in the supply chains of the chemical industry and develop and implement a program to tackle GHG Scope 3 emissions. There is an exciting opportunity for a new position as Scope 3 GHG and Member Engagement Manager in the growing TfS team. This position offers the opportunity to make an impact: collaborate with TfS members for more sustainable supply chains.

The Manager will be responsible for supporting the ongoing development and implementation of the global TfS Scope 3 GHG Programme in close collaboration with the Scope 3 GHG Manager. Further, the role will involve engaging senior leaders and operational stakeholders within TfS member companies, in partnership with the Member Engagement Managers, to ensure effective participation in all aspects of the TfS programme.

The position is Brussels-based and starts from May 2026.

Job description

      • Continuously work with TfS members at leadership and operational level to ensure the successful implementation of the entire TfS program in their companies;
      • Onboard TfS Members to the TfS Scope 3 GHG emissions programme and respective Workstream in cooperation with the TfS Workstream Chair/Co-Chairs;
      • Support the further development of the global TfS Scope 3 GHG emissions program with the perspective of collaborating with buyers and suppliers as well as TfS regional teams;
      • Support cooperation with external partners (e.g. Catena-X, WBCSD PACT) together with the respective Workstream and maintain communication with external parties interested in the TfS Scope 3 GHG emissions programme;
      • Oversee the implementation of TfS member targets for Scope 3 activities;
      • Design and facilitate programmes for successful member engagement incl. communications and trainings in cooperation with the respective TfS Managers and Workstreams;
      • Support the onboarding of new representatives and handover within existing TfS member companies with relevant starting package and training;
      • Cooperate with the TfS team on ad hoc tasks as required e.g. Annual TfS Workshop, TfS Annual Report, IT projects.

Required education, experience and skills

      • Masters’ degree in a relevant field, e.g. Business management/administration, chemical engineering, supply chain management, sustainable development;
      • Minimum 5 years of work experience in similar industry associations and/or chemical industry;
      • Expertise on sustainability in chemical supply chains and knowledge of the chemical industry;
      • Skills in relationship building and member/account management;
      • Experience with member or stakeholder engagement; understanding of member maturity levels;
      • Practical experience in cross-functional and cross-company stakeholder management and collaboration;
      • Experience in the field of GHG Emissions/Product Carbon Footprints management;
      • Practical experience translating complex topics like Scope 3 GHG emissions for business use and implementation;
      • Fluency in English required;
      • Confident command of MS Office required.

Considered a plus:

      • Intercultural working experience;
      • Knowledge of Chinese or Spanish or Portuguese;
      • IT knowledge beyond user level.
