Position description

Persistent Systems is seeking a strategic and operational leader to serve as the Vice President, Global Product Deployment Strategy. This role is responsible for building a comprehensive international operations program to support the global deployment of Wave Relay® MANET technology. The ideal candidate will develop and execute a country-by-country engagement strategy, oversee team training and deployment initiatives, and provide leadership with actionable insights on geopolitical and security landscapes.

Position Responsibilities

      • Identify and assess regions of current and future operational interest
      • Analyze local spectrum regulations, security considerations, and logistical constraints to define the optimal path for Wave Relay® deployment in each country
      • Create a scalable recruitment and training framework for international personnel, ensuring consistent quality of support even in regions without a Persistent Systems presence
      • Drive localization of talent pipelines while maintaining centralized training standards
      • Design and implement a comprehensive program for recruiting, training, and deploying forward-operating teams, this includes establishing curriculum, deployment criteria, readiness tracking, and sustainability plans
      • Build tailored strategies per country that consider legal, regulatory, political, and operational variables
      • Collaborating with Legal, Security, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure compliance and mission readiness
      • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership by communicating risks, emerging threats, and their potential impacts on Persistent Systems’ global operations
      • Coordinate with security and intelligence counterparts to maintain a robust operational risk picture

Minimum Qualifications

      • 10+ years in international operations, special operations, defense, or secure communications deployment
      • Deep understanding of global security environments, spectrum policy, and defense logistics
      • Experience building and managing dispersed and deployable teams
      • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
      • Military or intelligence background strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

      • Multilingual proficiency or regional expertise
      • Master’s degree in international relations, strategic studies, or related field

The base pay for this role can vary from $240,000 to $260,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
