The project will contribute to employment creation, especially for youth and women and mobilize fish value chain actors whose livelihoods depend on sustainable fish production and processing but have been greatly affected by the conflict leading to distorted fish supply and value chain, to help them contribute to the food security and economic recovery in Yemen.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure project monitoring and evaluation with focus on measuring progress towards results.
  • Provide technical support to ensure all required M&E information is incorporated in designing, implementation and monitoring of Annual Work Plans.
  • Ensure effective management of project monitoring and evaluation activities/processes.
  • Manage project monitoring and evaluation information and data for quality reporting.
  • Ensure knowledge building and management in the areas of monitoring and evaluation.
  •  Actively support Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment.

Requirements:

  • Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Development/Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration/Management, Public Administration, or related field is required; or 
  •  A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree. 
  • Applicants with Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field of study are not required to have professional work experience.
  • Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience at the national or international level in monitoring and evaluating programmes/projects in the field of development, crisis prevention and recovery and/or humanitarian settings.
