Position description
Signum Global Advisors, the leading geopolitical risk and macro advisory firm, is looking for a US East Coast-based US domestic political analyst to produce written research and advise clients on US legislative and executive branch political and policy dynamics and developments.
Responsibilities
- Produce written analysis on US political and policy dynamics and developments.
- Advise clients in written and verbal form, virtually and in person, on said-matters.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of Signum’s US politics-related events.
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of – and ideally experience with – US domestic politics.
- 3-7 years experience in government, government relations, or political/policy advisory roles.
- Ability to think clearly and decisively about complex problems with limited information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ease working under time pressure.
- Self-starting attitude; desire to work hard even under limited supervision.
- Openness to continuous feedback.
- An understanding of, and appreciation for, financial and/or corporate client environments.
- Authorization to work lawfully in the United States.
