Climate Fellowship for Women 2025 – Free Virtual Program (Apply by July 13) – Opportunities for Youth. The Climate Fellowship for Women 2025 is a free, virtual fellowship designed to support women globally in the fight against climate change. This fully-funded opportunity provides climate leadership training, mentorship, and global networking. Applications close on July 13, 2025. The Climate Fellowship for Women 2025 is an innovative, fully virtual program dedicated to equipping women with essential knowledge and skills to lead climate action. Organized by leading climate and education advocacy organizations, this fellowship addresses the critical gender gap in environmental leadership by empowering women with access to expert-led sessions, mentoring, and tools for creating meaningful change in their communities.

This program is especially relevant for early to mid-career women who are passionate about environmental justice, climate resilience, and sustainability. It offers a flexible format, enabling participants from across the world to engage in high-level learning while balancing their local commitments.

 

By participating in this virtual climate change fellowship, women become part of a global network of changemakers committed to sustainable development, climate education, and community resilience.

This is a free-of-cost opportunity with no participation fee, and it is not limited by nationality or location, making it ideal for women across the Global South and beyond.

Qualifications

Education and Certification

There is no formal educational requirement for the Climate Fellowship for Women 2025. However, applicants with a background or demonstrated interest in climate science, environmental studies, public policy, education, sustainable development, or similar fields are strongly encouraged to apply.

No specific certification is needed to apply. Fellows will receive a certificate of completion upon successful participation in the program.

Experience

  • Ideal for early- to mid-career women passionate about climate change.
  • Prior involvement in environmental or social impact projects is a plus.
  • Experience in leadership roles, volunteering, or grassroots activism strengthens your Application.

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • A clear commitment to climate justice and gender equality.
  • The ability to engage in virtual learning (internet access and availability).
  • Strong communication skills in English (sessions are conducted in English).

There is no age restriction, but applicants should be motivated and able to participate actively throughout the program duration.
